The Giving Loop: doing good locally became my best marketing channel.
Once a quarter your community picks a local charity, every customer can trigger a donation just by tagging your business, you volunteer together, and you close the loop with a public donation. Then you start again.
It's not a marketing trick with a charity stapled on. The charity genuinely wins, your community does the choosing, and your business gets known for what it actually did. I built it for my own company, and it costs nothing: the full PDF playbook, all 17 steps, is yours free after a 20-minute walk-through call.
We ran it with Kisses for Kyle.
Kisses for Kyle is a local charity supporting families with children battling cancer. When our community nominated them, we didn't just cut a check. Our trucks and our crew managed and delivered donated gifts across the area, the same trucks that carry ladders and liners the rest of the week.
Customers triggered donations just by tagging us in their own posts. Neighbors who'd never heard of us watched the count climb in their own community group. And when we posted the photo of the check, everyone who tagged us had a hand in it.
revenue the month the campaign ran
One campaign, one company, and the company was mine. Your results will vary. The system below is exactly what we ran.
It costs nothing. That's the whole price list.
The playbook is free: all 17 steps, every script, the full PDF. I give it away on a free 20-minute call where I walk you through the whole thing, and you keep everything whether we ever talk again or not. Why? Owners who run the Giving Loop tend to come back for the rest of what I do. This system is my best marketing. Now it's yours.
Eight weeks, start to finish
Here's the shape, free. The how, the scripts, and the timing are the playbook, and the playbook is free after a 20-minute call.

Seventeen steps across those eight weeks, two moves a week, every word written out. We donated $3 per tag; the playbook shows how to size yours for your ticket prices and your market.
No ad budget beats a community that picked the cause itself
There's no secret ingredient here. Just three things most local marketing never gets.
-
The community chose the charity
You didn't pick a cause and ask people to care. They nominated it, they voted with their comments, and they share the updates because it's partly theirs. By the time you announce the winner, half the town already has a stake in what happens next.
-
Customers become your marketers
Every tag is a customer telling their friends about the job you just did. It's attached to a donation, not a discount code. It's the recommendation people already trust, with a reason to post it today.
-
Every step produces something real
The coffee, the cards, the volunteer day, the check photo: eight weeks of posts you don't have to invent, because they're just photos of things that actually happened.
Every word, ready to run
Seventeen steps. Eight weeks. Every script, word for word. It's the exact system my company ran with Kisses for Kyle, written so the person who runs your social media can run the whole campaign without me.
Two moves a week for eight weeks. Most steps are a social media post or a cup of coffee, not a project. The playbook hands you every word.
-
All 17 steps, in order
The full eight-week arc (Launch, Connect, Activate, Deepen, Show Up, Momentum, Bond, Close the Loop) broken into 17 concrete steps. Each one ends with a single challenge; do the challenge and you're on pace. That's the whole tracking system.
-
Every word, ready to post
The community nomination post. The line your techs say to every customer at every job. The printed tag-card wording. The progress update, the co-post you write for the charity, the donation announcement. Copy, swap in your name, publish.
-
The compliance guardrails, walked through step by step
Charity promotions that mention purchases are regulated in many states. The playbook walks you through the agreement to put in place with the charity and the state rules to check with your attorney, including the commercial co-venture registration most owners have never heard of. Not legal advice; your attorney gets the final word, and the playbook makes that a short conversation.
- The coffee-meeting agenda that turns a charity contact into a real partnership
- The volunteer-day checklist that produces your most shareable content of the cycle
- The house rules that keep the loop fair and keep the community leaning in, cycle after cycle
- A printable PDF, built to survive the coffee stains on the shop counter
Built for local service businesses
If your trucks are in driveways every day (chimney, plumbing, HVAC, landscaping, cleaning, electrical, painting), this system was built on your exact routes. You already have what most charities can't afford: logistics, tools, and a crew that's out in the community anyway. The Giving Loop turns that into the kind of local reputation an ad budget can't buy.
It also works for shops, restaurants, and storefronts: anywhere your customers live in the same town you serve. If you're not sure it fits your business, book the free introductory call and ask me directly. If it's not a fit, I'll say so.
The playbook costs nothing. The walk-through takes twenty minutes.
Sign up for the free 20-minute call. I walk you through the full PDF playbook step by step, we talk about how the loop fits your business, and you leave with the whole thing, free, the same day. If it doesn't fit your business, I'll tell you that instead, and it cost you twenty minutes to find out.
Why free? Because owners who run the Giving Loop tend to come back for the rest of what I do. This system is my best marketing. Now it's yours.
Done with you
The playbook tells you what to do. If you'd rather build it together, that happens inside a consulting engagement: a working session, in person in Bucks or Montgomery County or virtual anywhere, where we build your campaign calendar, your tag cards and post templates, and the business-charity agreement and state-by-state checklist around your season, with the playbook included and a follow-up call once your campaign is live. It's not a separate package; it's one of the tools in the box when we work together.
Prefer to hear it from a stage?
“The Giving Loop: Do Good Locally. Get Known Everywhere.” is my signature keynote: the Kisses for Kyle story, the full system, and what your audience can run in their own businesses in 60 days.
Not sure which door fits? Start with the free call. If the playbook is all you need, I'll say exactly that, and you'll leave with it either way.
